Why Elephants?
My mum collected elephants her whole life, glass, wood, stone, every colour and every shape. Family and friends would bring one home from every holiday, and over the years her collection became a symbol of the people she loved.
When I set up my first Self Managed Super Fund and needed a trustee name, the choice was easy. Elephants.
To me, elephants represent everything Mum taught me, loyalty, strength, resilience, protection, wisdom, and never forgetting what matters most. Today she's living with dementia and still showing an extraordinary love of life that humbles me every single day.
Elephants Independent is her legacy. Built by a very proud son who owes her everything.
